How to draw an eye/eyebrow

Hey everyone! Today I’m gonna show you how to draw an eye. I’m using colored pencils to draw this because it’s easier to see. You can color in your eye any color you’d like. I hope this helps!

step 1. Draw you eye shape. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO DRAW THE TEAR DUCT. Most eyes are lemon shaped.

step 2. Draw the inside of the eye. I like to do 2 curved lines near the center. Be careful that they are not to wide, and not to inward.

step 3. Draw your pupil, and darken your lines a little. The pupil should be ovalish. Don’t make it to big, and not to small.

step 4. color in the first part of the eye. Draw down-up motions around the pupil. Make it dark.

step 5. Color in the rest of your iris, getting lighter and lighter, using the same down-up motions.

Step 6. Draw the eyelashes, using small to medium strokes, draw small and medium lashes. Draw the eyebrow. It don’t have to look like this, it’s just one of the easy ways. Start with a sideways line near the beginning of the eye, and continue to make a curved eyebrow. Don’t make it thick at the bottom of the brow, slowly let it stop almost at the end to create the ” curved pointed look “.

When you get more advanced you can draw eyes/brows like this. ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope this tutorial helped you! Let me know if it did!

      1. Hmmm…. My sister said they email each other by taking turns writing chapters, and then correct them for each other, and then post it. Ones writing as the younger sister, and ones writing about the older sister.

      2. One of my favorite books is Runaway Twin, by Peg Kehret. It’s about a girl who wants to find her twin sister, and runs into lots of storms and dangers. ( like a tornado ). Also I like the books A city tossed and broken, and the fences between us, which are diaries of Minnie Boner and Piper Davis. (those are dear america books, they are history books).
